One New Heartbeat, Inc. is hosting a 90-minute Community Voices on Wellness Forum - an engaging, virtual Statewide meeting designed for real talk and shared experience across our region. This isn't a lecture; it's a chance to open up the conversation, share challenges common to our state, and learn together, no matter where you log in from.
Weβre focused on genuine dialogue and connection, moving past formal presentations to create a supportive, non-judgmental space for families across the state. Our goal is to strengthen families and increase our collective ability to help ourselves.
The virtual forum is structured to be accessible and interactive, with two main features:
The Local Lens: Weβll share some quick, easy-to-understand Statewide data on the impact of alcohol, marijuana, substance misuse, and mental healthβthe challenges we know are affecting families in every county.
The Candid Roundtable: Our panel features individuals who started using substances at an early age and are still actively navigating recovery and mental health challenges, alongside experienced professionals like Patti Pike from CanAm Interventions. This raw, honest discussion will focus on the real-time struggles and what parents and community members need to know right now.Β
We'll use the virtual platform to hear what's working, what's not, and where communities across the state need more support.
This event is primarily for Parents/Caregivers and Community Members Statewide who want to move past stigma and discuss solutions.
By encouraging honest sharing and active listening across geographical lines, we aim to:
Increase Awareness of Statewide realities and the link between mental health and substance use.
Educate the Community by providing practical, immediate steps families can take.
Strengthen Partnerships between resource providers and remote communities.
Identify Actionable Next Steps for prevention that reflect the real, diverse experiences shared by attendees across the state.
Log in ready to listen, share, and connect. Your voice is the most valuable part of this conversation.
